Story in progress…

Another”Hard-Working Wednesday” is in the books at the Pistons Academy Camp in Southfield and campers left hanging their head high as the results are starting to pay off. Especially in 4-Ball. “Teams are finding their rhythm and the scores are skyrocketing!” said 4-Ball Commissioner Geo Thomas, “Some of these teams are really dialed in!”

One of those teams is Alabama who came within two points of the camp record. Led by Chase Kukes Alabama has Spencer Cherrin and Jaden “The #1 Savage” Ryke and together they hit for 147 points. “I think we have a good chance of breaking the record,” said Kukes and Cherrin, “We are really confident that we will break the record, said Cherrin, “A is for Ace and we are #1″

Other teams have come close to the record and will give Alabama a run for their money as Louisville (141) Florida St (139) and Georgetown (121) have the firepower to run with anyone.

Here are the latest standings from Wednesday’s events:

4-Ball Standings: FAC2 4-Ball Wed

Free Throw RED Division: RED FT SCORES – WED

Free Throw BLUE/WHITE Divisions: FAC2 BULUE-WHITE FTS – WED

WEDNESDAY’S IMPOSSIBLE QUESTION:

The Bad Boys Pistons era proved that you do not need to go to a large school in order to be drafted into the NBA.  That said, name the colleges that Joe Dumars and Dennis Rodman attended.

If you know the answer, write it down on a 3×5 piece of paper and turn it in at check-in Tuesday morning.  Winning answers will be placed into a raffle for some cool prizes and autographed Pistons posters!

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS:

1- Playoffs begin on Friday.  Schedule of events will be posted on the website tomorrow evening

2- Awards ceremony will start Friday at 1:15pm.  Dismissal will be 1:45pm

3- Players must wear their jersey in order to participate in playoff games

4- Reminder that campers must be picked up from camp by 3:15pm (2pm on Friday)
