SPARKS 27, WINGS 26: In a game that saw seven ties and eight lead changes, the Sparks were able to outlast the Wings in the opening game of the Winter season. Grace Main hit the game winning shot with 53 seconds left and the Sparks defense did not allow a quality shot the rest of the way. Lily Stafiel led all scorers with 13 points. Main finished with eight and Ella Blank tallied six points and seven rebounds. The Wings used a balanced attack as five of the six players scored. Thalia Pierre finished with 10 points for the Wings.
RAVENS 24, FALCONS 5: The Ravens played aggressive basketball Saturday as they dominated the boards and scored 18 of their 24 points in the paint. Luca Spadafore went for 12 points while teammate Jude Bialas tallied ten rebounds. The Falcons struggled in the first half and trailed 14-1 at the break. But they stepped up the intensity and were able to drive to the basket with power and managed a total of 10 free throws, making three. Ziv Ferber paced the Falcon scoring with 3pts.
HOOSIERS 33, WOLVERINES 32: Aiden Binder nailed a come-from-behind triple with 53 seconds left in OT to lift the Hoosiers to victory in the opening college game of the winter season. Binder finished with 8pts and the Hoosiers hit an amazing seven threes on the day. Hoosier guard Quran Creary hit a go-ahead three with 12 seconds left in regulation, making the score 30-28. But the Wolverines pushed the ball up and court and Noah Sanders made a lay-up with just a few seconds left to send the game into OT. Creary finished with 18 points to lead all scorers. Sanders paced the Wolverines with 12pts.

WARRIORS 17, KNIGHTS 12: The Warriors started their season off on the right foot by winning a close game over the Knights. Led by Devin Young (6 points) and Jamir Eans (5 points), the Warriors pulled away late in the game and secured the opening weekend victory. The Knights displayed a balanced offensive attack, as 6 players scored on Saturday afternoon. Deven Badhwar, Xavier Jones, Kobin Kothari, Quinn Kuchman, Owen Wilson and Drew Zusel each scored 2 points.
BRONCOS 16, TIGERS 13: The Broncos earned a victory on Saturday in a bit of a defensive struggle over the Tigers. Buckets were hard to come by on Saturday afternoon, as both teams played stingy defense. The Broncos were led by Nate Sherman (5 points) while K.B. Bridgewater and Amir Hughes each added 4 points. The Tigers, missing a couple key players, were led by Nolan Davis and William Butcher, who each scored 5 points.
HAWKEYES 40, SPARTANS 18: The Hawkeyes started their season in impressive fashion, as they shot the ball extremely well and lit up the scoreboard for 40 points and a convincing victory over the Spartans. Davis Langwell paced the Hawkeyes with 10 points, while Ari Melamed and Asher Langwell each chipped in 7 points. The Spartans were led by Will Duross, who scored 5 points. Sonny Haboo added 4 points for the Spartans.
