The Pistons Academy Premier Leagues return this fall with a variety of basketball leagues for boys and girls in grades K-10. Registration for all leagues are under way and the Academy is again expecting another sold out season.
“We are in full league mode now that camps are winding down,” said Director of Pistons Academy Leagues, Bryan Bollin, “It should be a fun fall season!”
Pistons Academy Premier Leagues deliver the best in the youth basketball experience. Warm-up music, in-game announcements, newsletters, website stats and standings and an experience leadership staff that is known for their attention to detail. Grades K-1: Mini-Hoopers: An instructional league for boys and girls. Saturday mornings at Franklin Athletic Club
Grades 2-3: Rookie League: A league where players start to learn team concepts and rule comprehension. Thursdays at Franklin.
Grades 2-4: Friday Night Lights Girls JV: All-girls league on Friday nights in Birmingham. Heavy on instruction.
Grades 3-5: Prep League: Boys play a competitive season. Games are Saturdays in Birmingham.
Grades 4-6: Friday Night Lights Girls Varsity: All-Girls League on Friday evenings in Birmingham.
Grades 5-6: College Division: Boys play a competitive season. Games are Saturdays in Birmingham.
Grades 6-8: All-Girls Middle School League: Girls play a full, competitive season in Birmingham (Winter only)
Grades 7-8: Pro Division: Boys in grades 7-8 play in a competitive league. Thurs practices/Sat Games in Birmingham.
Grades 9-10: Legends League: Boys in grades 9-10 play a competitive season. All games/practices are Saturdays at Franklin.
