THRILLING THURSDAY HAS ITS MOMENTS!

June 21st, 2018

Girls E-Coach

Four days up and four days down at the Pistons Academy Camp of Birmingham and campers are showing no signs of slowing down.  “These campers are really competing,” said Red Division Coach Bethany Mac, “They love playing games and many of them have come down to the final shot, overtime or a shootout.  It was a thrilling day for sure!”

In the free-throw contest, four players earned #1 seeds in their perspective divisions:  Parker Levin, Joshua Gibson, Jonathan Schwartz and Ayreh Ferber.  They will wait to take on the feed-in winners with hopes of making it to the final four. However, in 2017, only two of 44 #1 seeds won the camp free-throw tournament meaning anything can happen tomorrow! See below for overall seedings.

E-Coach basketball, this week’s camp sponsor, recognized three players for their efforts on defense, hustle and attitude.  Congratulations to Emilla Edgar, Lana Kovachevich and Eileen McGlinchey, for their outstanding work ethic this week!

B- Grant Hill (33)
C- Bill Laimbeer (40)
D- Rip Hamilton (23)

Write down your answer on a 3 x 5 piece of paper and turn it in at check-in tomorrow.  Correct answers will be placed into a drawing on Friday for some cool autographed Pistons Merchandise.
