Today’s pistons Academy Camp at High Velocity Sports in Canton set a new record for attendance as 97 campers were on hand. “This has become one of our favorite camps of the summer,” says Camp Director Geo Thomas, “The energy and enthusiasm are outstanding. The Pistons Organization truly loves being here!”
Although most of the camp were first-timers to the camp, there were many returning campers like Ayanna Hai, Reid Love and Frederick Dunford. “We remember many of these faces,” added Thomas, “It was so fun to see them again.”
The camp started with mostly pre-season events but a few commenced in the regular season, such as 4-Ball. There were many strong scores in 4-Ball but none more eye-opening than Louisville (3-0). Their high score of 129 is 31 points higher than the next highest total (Georgetown-98). Clemson currently leads the contest with a 4-0 record. To see all the standings, click here: Monday 4-Ball
