PISTONS ACADEMY RETURNS TO BRIGHTON HIGH SCHOOL

The Pistons Academy Summer Basketball Camp, powered by Kroger, returned to SELCRA this week as 91 campers attended this week long camp at Brighton High School.

After a 24 month absence, the Pistons Academy Summer Camp Tour returned to Brighton High School as did 91 eager campers who showed no lack of energy or enthusiasm.  “It was great to be back in my hometown,” said former All-State basketball player and now Pistons Academy coach, Bryan Bollin, “I have great memories in this gym and want to give back to the community by delivering a fun camp experience.”

Most of Monday was pre-season but a few events tipped off, including 4-Ball where Florida State, Jackson State and the Snakes lead their respective divisions.  Here are all the 4-Ball stats: 4-Ball Standings

In the free throw contest, five players had perfect scores.  “This will be one of the most anticipated contests in camp,” said Camp Director Geo Thomas, “We have three former champions and many others who are known for their outside shooting.  It going to be a great week of shooting!”  Here are the FT scores through Monday:
