The “Queens of the Court” skills clinic returns this holiday season with a fun and instructional 3-hour clinic on December 30th in Southfield, MI.
“Our girls program has about a six week break from fall to winter so this will be a great way to get some work in over the break,” says Geo Thomas who heads up the Pistons Academy All-Girls programming.
The clinic will be for girls in grades 2-8 and will be held at the Franklin Athletic Club in Southfield. Starting at 4pm, the girls will run through skill stations and work on footwork and rule comprehension.
After a 5:20-5:40pm dinner break, the girls will play games and participate in skill and trivia contests. The Clinic will end with a brief awards ceremony where all girls will be recognized for their efforts. See below for details and how to register:

What to bring: Girls should bring dinner or healthy snack or they can purchase a pizza dinner for $7 (includes pizza, snacks, desert and a beverage). Girls should come dressed to play. Bring a basketball if arriving early or girls can purchase a Pistons basketball on-site for $15.
