ULTIMATE HOOPS DAY 1 REVIEW + IMPOSSIBLE QUESTION

August 14th, 2017

Ultimate Hoops Design

The Largest Ultimate Hoops Camp in history tipped-off today as 128 Campers gathered at the Cross of Christ Church Gymnasium in Bloomfield Hills.  After a slow start, the energy picked up and by the end of the camp it was so loud in the gym, coaches could barely hear themselves think.  “It was amazing,” said Coach Dan Thomas, “This may be one of the loudest, most energized weeks of the summer. These campers are great!”

Most of the day was pre-season but a few events tipped off their regular season schedules.  Scores were tight in the 4-ball Divisions where a few teams made their mark.  Georgetown (2-0) and Baylor (2-0) are two of the five teams that are undefeated in the Steph Curry Division.  They are the only teams with 2-0 records and have broken 100 points.  In the Klay Thompson Division, Rutgers (2-0) and Xavier (2-0) are setting the pace while a 3-Way tie defines the top of the Chauncey Billups Division.  To see all the 4-Ball scores, click here: 4-Ball Monday

In the Upper Free-Throw Competition, camp veterans Chase Tonnies and Cooper Delfin are tied for the lead with a perfect score of 6-6.  However, in the Red Division, John McKany leads all shooters with a perfect score of six.  To view all the scores of the day check out these scorecards: Red FT Scoresheet  B-W FT Scoresheet
