2024 Fall League Registration now open
The Pistons Academy offers many levels of youth basketball leagues throughout the year. Our Pistons Leagues offer a division for every player and are designed for the intermediate to advanced player. These leagues are directed by seasoned professionals who understand what makes a league enjoyable for players and parents alike. Games run on time and we only use experienced officials and scorekeepers. Players will enjoy warm-up music, in-game announcements, weekly newsletters, and recaps posted on our website. The season ends with a post-season tournament!
VOLUNTEER COACHING INFORMATION
Volunteer head coaches will receive a generous compensation package including: 2 tickets to a Detroit Pistons game during the 2024 – 2025 season, free league registration for their child, coaching uniforms, and discounted merchandise at pistons313shop.com. *Coaches must still register their children. The refund will take place at the end of the season as long as all expectations are met.*
We expect any coach representing Pistons Academy to be present at all games/practices and abide by the conduct expectations laid out by the Pistons Academy Director. More information will be provided once confirmed as a volunteer coach.
All games and practices will take place on Fridays and Saturdays at Royal Oak High School. Each team will receive a minimum of six games and three practices during the season. The league will finish with a season-ending tournament.

Our game presentation is second to none as players are treated to in-game announcements, music, halftime Pistons giveaways and much more! In order to insure parity, players will register as individuals and will be placed on teams through a player draft. The league draft will be held on: Sept. 21st at Royal Oak High School. Attendance at the draft is expected.
